I discovered rendering in 2020 and became completely obsessed.

The craft of it drew me in. Getting deeply into the models, dialling in the textures, playing with the lighting, and setting up each shot like it's a photography session. I find it genuinely satisfying every single time.

I work exclusively with interior design professionals: solo designers and large firms across Canada and the USA. I've also had the privilege of teaching rendering to other design professionals, both in group classes and one-on-one.

"I set up every render like it's a photography shoot. I think about the angle, the light, what's in frame and what isn't. That's what makes a render feel real."

The feedback I hear most from the designers I work with is that the quality exceeded their expectations, that I communicate clearly and quickly, and that working with me feels easy. That last part is very intentional.

Design has been part of who I am for as long as I can remember.

As a kid, I was always building something. Furniture and doll houses were made from basically whatever I could get my hands on; nothing was off-limits. In the wintertime, I’d create entire living room sets out of snow. I was designing spaces before I had words for what I was doing.

My first job was painting and wallpapering the entire interior of my parents' home. I had complete control of picking out everything. Yes, including stencilling. It was the 90s, and I stand by it. I was in my happy place and loved the creative freedom. In high school, I painted a full Scooby Doo mural entirely from memory, no reference images, no computer, just a wall and a vision.

"I was designing spaces before I had words for what I was doing."

If you want someone who truly understands design and not just the software, I'm your girl. I'm an interior designer turned 3D rendering specialist. Interior Design diploma, and certified colour expert with years of hands-on decorating and renovation work. And it all shows up in the renders.

WHAT DRIVES THE WORK

The things I genuinely love about 3D rendering.

  • Large beige number '01' on a black background.

    The technical craft

Getting deeply detailed with models, textures, and lighting until everything is exactly right. It's like a puzzle and I find that genuinely satisfying every single time.

  • The chemical symbol for Oxygen in large, elegant font on a black background.

    Setting up the shot

I approach every render like a photography shoot. I like to think about the angle, the light source, what's in frame and what isn't. That attention to composition is what makes a render feel real rather than generated.

  • The chemical symbol for oxygen, O₂, written in large beige script on a black background.

    The moment it lands

Hearing that a designer's client loved the renders. That the images did their job and helped win the project. That's the moment that makes all the technical work worth it!
